GramonD OY is a start-up company bringing together scientists and businessmen in the nano-technology market. Our research team is combined of scientists in the field of carbon materials and micro-mechanics.
The general direction of GramonD research and development activity is developing Single Crystal Diamond tips and exploring its applications. Our specific focus is on developing a principally new type of Single Crystal Diamond tips which will be used for development of new generation of Scanning Probe Microscope cantilevers, new nano-sized indentors and X-ray detectors. Recently GramonD is the owner of unique CVD based technology of single crystal diamond tips with apex sizes of 5-10 nanometers.
GramonD OY has recently presented two types of products:
Single Crystal Diamond (SCD) needles (or tips). These SCD tips are used for production of probes for scanning probe microscopy (SPM) and for other products exploiting specific properties of single crystal diamond pyramidal shaped tips.
Nanographite Films (NGF). The NGF is a very prospective material which has properties suitable for production of electron source (cathode) for vacuum electronic devices such as X-ray tubes, microwave amplifiers and generators, cathodoluminescent light sources etc.
The long-term goal of GramonD OY is the further exploration of wide spread of new developments in the field of measurement instrumentation to the laboratories in scientific research and especially industry.
